PRIVACY & DISCLOSURE

What the page stores and requests.

The buying checklist can save its checked items in your browser. Volume lookup, ISBN copying and calendar download run on the page. This site has no checkout or account form.

Data kept in your browser

The checklist uses a localStorage entry named release-ledger-checklist-v1 to remember checked items between visits. The entry contains checklist item identifiers, not an order, name or payment details. Use “Clear saved checklist” on the buying page to remove it, or clear this site’s storage in your browser.

If storage is blocked or full, the checklist stays usable for the current page and reports that it cannot save. The correction-note tool creates text locally and does not send it to an editorial inbox. Clipboard permission is requested only when you press a copy button; a selectable text fallback is provided.

Search and external pages

Site search uses a static Pagefind index downloaded from this site. Search queries are processed in your browser; this implementation does not send them to a search provider. The hosting service still receives ordinary requests for site files and may maintain operational request logs.

Publisher and retailer links open external services. Those services have their own privacy and ordering terms. No payment or retailer login is requested by Release Ledger. No affiliate agreement or affiliate tracking link was established for this initial guide.

Saved-checklist problems

If a saved checklist is damaged, the page keeps the previous record and shows a warning. New choices stay on the current page until you choose “Clear saved checklist”. If browser storage is unavailable, the checklist reports that it cannot save.

Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics 4 is configured on this site’s production domain to measure traffic. It can collect page views and interactions, browser and device information, and an approximate geographic region. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits and measure how the site is used.

Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s data-collection information. Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Your browser also provides cookie and tracking controls.

Adsterra: Advertising snippets configured.

Adsterra serves the native and banner placements on the production domain. Its services can receive your IP address, browser and device details, page information and advertising interactions, and may use cookies or other identifiers to deliver and measure advertisements.

See Adsterra’s Privacy Policy and cookie information. Browser tracking controls and extensions can affect whether an advertisement loads.

No custom visitor privacy-choice popup is implemented. Configured tags do not confirm that a provider has received an event or displayed an advertisement.
