The title contains an English subtitle, Art Book of Pokémon Video Games developed by GAME FREAK. That subtitle does not establish the language used inside the books. Yodobashi’s BOOK1 listing identifies Japanese as the language and carries the matching ISBN 9784824018731. That is retailer metadata for the matching first volume; the official announcement text checked here did not display a separate language-specification field. How to check an English-edition claim
Look for a named publisher’s announcement, an edition-specific ISBN, the stated language and a market-specific publication date. Match those details against the original announcement. An English storefront description, a translated product title or a seller offering international shipping does not by itself identify an English edition.
Searches of OVERLAP, Pokémon.com, Pokémon Japan and VIZ did not locate an English-edition or worldwide-release announcement for these volumes during this review. That result can change if a publisher later announces a translation. It does not mean a translation has been ruled out.
If you are considering the Japanese books
Decide whether you want to read the text as well as view the artwork. OVERLAP describes creator interviews and reference material; language can matter even for an art-focused purchase. The publication has not been reviewed hands-on by Release Ledger, and the guide does not rate how easy it is to use without Japanese.
Choose a volume by its listed games, then ask the seller to confirm the language, delivery destination and return terms. Do not assume all volumes have the same precise page count or shipping weight.
