What the publisher has announced
The Japanese title is ポケットモンスター ビジュアルアートブック, followed by the English subtitle 30th anniversary Art Book of Pokémon Video Games developed by GAME FREAK. The descriptive English name used here does not establish an English-language edition.
All three books are scheduled for Japan publication on December 18, 2026. Each is a separate B5, full-colour volume priced at ¥5,500 including Japanese tax. The publisher plans about 500 pages per volume, or about 1,500 altogether. Those are approximate figures, not final page counts. Read the Japan announcement and the publisher’s specifications.
What is inside the planned collection?
OVERLAP describes game artwork and design material, including pixel art, 3DCG, illustrations and promotional artwork. Its planned contents also include previously unpublished reference material and extended GAME FREAK creator interviews at the end of each volume. These are the publisher’s descriptions of forthcoming books; Release Ledger has not inspected printed copies.
The Pokémon Company and GAME FREAK supervise the publication, and OVERLAP is the publisher and distributor. The catalogue lists games from the Japanese Red and Green releases through Legends: Z-A and M次元ラッシュ. It does not establish a complete archive of every Pokémon spin-off. Check the special page for the latest outline.
One volume or all three?
A single volume may cover the games you want. Use the finder above for the exact title, particularly when a remake shares a region with an older game. Ruby and Sapphire are in BOOK1; Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are in BOOK2.
Buying all three at the Japanese list prices adds up to ¥16,500. That is the arithmetic sum of three separately sold books. It is not an official boxed-set price, and it excludes any shipping, proxy charges or destination taxes. A seller’s three-volume listing needs its own contents and condition check.
